Spring Break in Sun River, Oregon

For Spring Break this year we rented a house in Sun River, Oregon. We surprised the kids one of the days by taking them horseback riding. They were sooo.... excited! If only you could see their faces! Zach is in the blue & Olivia is in the orange.

Tashara and Courtney although having ridden horses only one other time in their entire lives thought it would be fun to gallop. Bummer for them that the rules said they had to stay on the trail with the rest of us ~ however, I was very thakful for that! Tashara is in black & white, I am beside her in the light blue & Courtney is behind me in dark blue.

Sledding at Mt. Bachelor

This is Mt. Bachelor's sledding hill. It was only about 40 minutes away from where we were staying in Sun River. On our last day of vacation, Stephen took Courtney, Zachary & Olivia sledding while Tashara & I stayed at our rental house with the Flu!

Everybody say cheese and pretend like you're not freezing to death!

This cute red faced Zachary ended up with such a severe sunburn that he was too embarrassed to go to school for a couple of days. I didn't make him go since his nose was cracked & bleeding! Can anyone say, "Sun block?"

She looks happy now, but that sun came back to bite her too!

Now this is sledding! Going up is just as fun as going down! Olivia is in the pink hat and Courtney is close behind in the orange hat.

Whoever can make it to the top is "King of the Mountain!"

Olivia decided, freezing or not, it was time to get back to the slopes!
